HP ENVY 15-w110nr x360 Convertible Notebook

HP ENVY 15-w110nr x360 Convertible Notebook

Welcome to a Biomedical Battery specialist of the HP Laptop Battery

Since their inception, 2-in-1 laptops have been popular. I guess it’s because people want a device that is truly functional. HP ENVY 15-w110nr x360 is one of those units, containing a rotating display eventually making the laptop a tablet. The computer is pretty expensive, so you might wonder if it’s actually worth all the money. Well, let me tell you…

As expected for this price, HP ENVY 15-w110nr x360 with battery like HP ProBook 430 G2 Battery, HP H6L28ET Battery, HP HSTNN-DB3T Battery, HP HSTNN-IB3T Battery, HP TPN-C103 Battery, HP TPN-C108 Battery, HP Envy 6-1001TX Battery, HP Envy 6-1222TX Battery, HP Envy Sleekbook 6 Battery, HP Envy Sleekbook 6-1000 Battery, HP Ultrabook 6T-1000 Battery, HP Ultrabook 6Z-1100 Battery is a fast one. To begin with, the processor is Intel’s low voltage flagship, the Core i7-6500U with two cores and 2.5GHz clock speed (that increases to 3.1GHz with turbo). What you will also enjoy is the 8GB memory, a great amount for multitasking, however keep in mind it can not be upgraded.

A solid-state drive is the only real storage choice for these 2-in-1s. It’s much more durable than conventional hard drives so this laptop will probably last quite long. The 26GB M.2 SSD here is also a snappy drive, meaning that programs will load in no time.

The most essential feature is the display with 360 degree hinge. Just rotate it enough and you have made your notebook a (big) tablet. Indeed, the 15.6″ screen means it’s rather large unit. Full HD resolution is plus, ensuring that movies and series will look nice on the screen. The panel type is IPS so you’re going to get great viewing angles (expect even 180 degrees). A front-facing webcam is installed in the screen bezel on top.

Even though HP ENVY 15-w110nr x360 is a pricey model it doesn’t excel at one thing. And that’s gaming. They have included only an integrated (in other words, slow) graphics unit inside, one called Intel HD 520. If you want to play very demanding games you will probably be disappointed; for example on low settings and resolution GTA 5 will get ca. 30FPS and the famous Fallout 4 even less than that. Luckily, old games are a different beast, you’ll get smooth FPS with titles such as Counter-Strike: Go even on high settings.

“Up to 8 hours of battery life” is said in the ad copy. Well, the 3-cell 45Whr battery might just last that, but you’d need to use quite conservative screen brightness. On average, you’ll be getting 6 hours on HP ENVY 15-w110nr x360.

The port selection is very typical: one USB 2.0, two USB 3.1 (one of those for charging) and HDMI output to plug in a monitor. In addition, you’ll get RJ-45 port which means networking with cable is possible. There is also a high-quality 802.11ac wireless adapter with Bluetooth support at your disposal.

This model doesn’t come with a DVD burner. However, media card reader (SD/MMC) is available.

The keyboard has backlight feature, a nice thing in darker rooms some people think.

HP ENVY 15-w110nr x360 is a 2-in-1 powerhouse. There are hardly any programs that wouldn’t run on it thanks to the Core i7 processor and 256GB solid-state drive. Of course games are a different beast but it’s like that with all these convertible laptops. If you indeed enjoy the heavyweight software performance and multi-use notebook/tablet functionality, I recommend getting this HP.
