Lenovo Flex 4 80VE000MUS 2-in-1 Laptop

Lenovo Flex 4 80VE000MUS 2-in-1 Laptop

Welcome to a Biomedical Battery specialist of the Lenovo Laptop Battery

You certainly have a good reason to be interested in Lenovo Flex 4 (80VE000MUS). The computer in question is not only a laptop, but also a tablet – and a darn fast one! The unit is like a chameleon, it changes to fit the environment, but is there any bad thing to be said about it? My professional critique will reveal that!

It is true that Lenovo Flex 4 (80VE000MUS) is a very fast 2-in-1 model with battery like Lenovo 51J0226 Battery, Lenovo 57Y6266 Battery, Lenovo X1 Carbon 3448 Battery, Lenovo 45N1070 Battery, Lenovo FRU 42T4585 Battery, Lenovo X1 Carbon 3444 Battery, Lenovo X1 Carbon 3460 Battery, Lenovo L08L6Y02 Battery, Lenovo 3000 G555 Battery, Lenovo IdeaPad B460 Battery, Lenovo 45N1071 Battery, Lenovo X1 Carbon 3462 Battery. Starting with the storage, it’s equipped by a very decent 256GB solid-state drive, a 2.5″ one plugged to SATA interface. You might already know these SSDs (as they’re called) provide much better performance than conventional hard drives. The raw storage space itself isn’t that huge, but you’ll be left with around 220 gigabytes for your files – quite an appropriate amount for casual users.

For a notebook, the processor performance is fantastic as well. The insides contain Intel Core i7-7500U, its keywords being 7th generation, two cores and 2.7GHz clock speed. The good thing is, the processor also contains turbo boost which increases the performance to 3.5GHz. It beats most other processors found in 2-in-1 laptops – the CPU Mark score is ~5300 while cheaper laptops/convertibles get 3000-4000 points.

There is nothing wrong with the computer’s memory. On the contrary, it has a single 8GB DDR4-2133 stick installed. If I recall correctly, there are no extra slots on the mainboard, however you can replace the current RAM as DDR4 supports up to 16GB sticks.

Lenovo Flex 4 (80VE000MUS) has a graphics card better than your average integrated unit. The laptop features AMD Radeon R7 M460 and you are allowed to get a little excited. It’s going to run most games fine especially if you are not greedy with settings. GTA 5, for example, will run at a nice 40-50FPS using medium presets and 720p resolution.

There are nothing special about the ports of Lenovo Flex 4 (80VE000MUS). The usual USB ports are present, two are USB 3.0 and one is USB 2.0. Also HDMI output is there, the good old port to plug your HD television or another monitor to.

You’ll want to connect to Internet via the laptop’s Gigabit LAN port, or use its 2×2 802.11ac WiFi card. The good thing for some is, it also supports Bluetooth 4.0.

One thing the laptop does not have is DVD burner. You definitely need to use an external drive in case discs are a requirement for you.

The memory card reader might become handy, it eats SD(HC/XC) and MMC cards.

The battery on this Lenovo can not be removed until you tear the unit apart. But it’s not a bad battery, people are getting around 7 hours while browsing the web and movie watching.

The 15.6″ display features 1920×1080 resolution which is also known as Full HD. I consider this an advantage however very usual for this price. The screen’s magic is the 360 degree hinge which makes the unit work in laptop and tablet modes. The computer’s sole webcam is located in the upper bezel.

Lenovo Flex 4 (80VE000MUS) is a safe choice, so to speak. First, you must understand its ample performance thanks to latest Core i7 processor and speedy solid-state drive. Second, and perhaps more importantly, the computer has received excellent reviews from many people – meaning it should be a quality product. Other things you like include Full HD display, good for avid movie watchers. There’s nothing horrendous about it – should a fast 2-in-1 notebook tickle your fancy, you will like this model for sure!
